'Poldark' to Air in Japan

Edit by @dpdlekszlffl

The first series of Poldark is to be shown on Japanese television in a new deal between Japanese broadcaster Imagica TV and the drama's worldwide distributor, ITV Studios Global Entertainment. ContentAsia report that it will air as part of the ITV Collection on the satellite channel. Other programmes joining Poldark  on Imagica include Arthur and George, Mr Selfridge S2 and Endeavour S1.

Talking about the ITV Collection earlier this year,  Augustus Dulgaro, executive VP, Asia Pacific for ITVSGE said, “ITVS GE’s brand of high-quality drama programming has always proven recognisable and popular with Japanese audiences.

“We are delighted that Imagica TV will be further developing this brand by creating ITV Collection, a dedicated scheduling block where viewers can watch all of their favourite ITV dramas."
