Casting News: Crystal Leaity to Play Margaret

Hampshire born actor Crystal Leaity will play Margaret, the woman Ross (Aidan Turner) sometimes seeks comfort from, in the upcoming remake of Poldark.

20 year old Crystal was brought up in Southampton. She was one of just 500 students chosen for the National Youth Theatre acting course in 2011. Crystal graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2013.  In the last year she has appeared on television in Inspector Lewis, Mr Selfridge and Breathless and in the short film Etiquette.

When asked about working with the cast on Lewis Crystal told Southampton University's Solent that she had “gained so much experience just watching and talking to them." She added, " I was terrified not to mess up my first job so I was off book two weeks before filming.”
